Unsolicited Testimonials

"I scored a 710 on the GMAT following your GMAT turboprep course that I took in New York City during August 2007, a 140 point score improvement over my previous best score of 570. I could not have achieved this significant score increase without your excellent GMAT training and support. Thank you very much.
-- Jamie Crapanzano, GMAT Turboprep Course, New York City-- GMAT Hall of Famer.".

"Thank you for an amazing GMAT prep course in Atlanta. I took the test a week after the course and scored 740 in the 98th percentile. I strongly recommend MLIC GMAT course for a score in the 700's.

MLIC GMAT beats Veritas Prep, MGMAT, Kaplan, ...

Veritas Prep Deceptions exposed

  • Veritas LLC, a Connecticut LLC, may be illegally operating in California by using an unregistered name VERITAS PREP and by operating an unregistered (with California Secretary of State) foreign LLC. Neither Veritas LLC nor Veritas Prep is registered with the Secretary of State, CA. In California, as in all States, it is illegal and misdemeanor to operate a business under a name that is not registered with the SOS-CA. Stay tuned for more expose.
  • Veritas Prep recruits its instructors by continually advertising on Craigslist and Vault, and sends them out to 'teach' the classes without any vetting or formal training. You, the person who pays $1600 to take Veritas course will be required to decide whether Veritas Prep made a good choice or not. Also, Veritas Prep may not be truthful about its instructor qualifications. Many instructors who have previously taught for Veritas prep have confided in us that they had not taken the GMAT, much less score in the 99th percentile as Veritas prep would have you believe.
  • Veritas Prep is known to cancel its classes or allow a few sessions to run without instructors, if it cannot find an instructor to show up at the classes. Veritas Prep's new fraudulent claim is that its group of tutors includes ex-Harvard and M.I.T professors and scientists. When MLIC asked Veritas LLC to identify the names of those ex-Harvard and M.I.T professors, Chad Troutwine refused to provide the names. You be the judge.
  • Veritas Prep does not have any proprietary materials to speak of. Nearly 90%, if not 100%, of the tests it 'arms you with' are bought from companies such as Arco, 800score.com, and from MBA.COM.
  • Veritas prep has the same training methodology as Kaplan and Princeton Review: the tutor, if he or she shows up, will try to show you a couple of problems from their inferior 'lesson booklets', and dismiss the class so that you can go home and work on your own. In other words, Veritas Prep does not train you but merely shows you a few problems that may not even be representative of current GMAT questions.
  • Know the bald lies asserted by Veritas LLC, and choose MLIC GMAT Prep for industry-leading GMAT Training.

The Real MGMAT you need to know (MGMAT is now Kaplan)

  • Kaplan has acquired Manhattan GMAT. It looks like a bad company bought another bad company.
  • Manhattan GMAT offers about 20 hours of in-class tutorials that are based on OG, and hires unqualified instructors some of whom do dog-sitting for their day jobs.
  • Manhattan GMAT is the only company that knows that its training is useless so much so that it is unwilling to offer any guarantee to support its worthless course.
  • Like Veritas prep, MGMAT lies about its instructor qualifications.
  • Manhattan GMAT schedule is haphazard. Check out the 'curriculum' posted on its website and you can see that the class schedule has a few minutes for sentence correction and jumps to reading comprehension and then talks about GMAT overview. Only MLIC offers the most highly structured and relevant training in the GMAT assessment areas, using questions resembling currently LIVE GMAT problems tested at high difficulties.
  • Do not be a sucker. Choose MLIC GMAT Prep courses, the only training program that is structured and backed by industry-leading Score Guarantee.

Kaplan, Princeton Review, Et al..

  • Kaplan, Princeton Review, and other me-too GMAT prep companies hire poorly qualified, poorly motivated (how much motivation does a person who gets paid $10 an hour have?) student instructors who parrot out talking points. None of these companies train you. They run seminars and tutorials, and provide worthless, made up tests that do not represent the current state of the GMAT. Only MLIC updates its training materials frequently and ensures that its training materials are consistent with the LIVE emphasis seen on the current GMAT administrations.
  • Kaplan and Princeton Review both run courses that feature the least number of hours of in-class gimmicks sessions (Manhattan GMAT is a close second). Their courses do not bother with concepts or content but with mere tricks that do not work in the Computer adaptive format. Kaplan's untrained, unqualified student instructor will tell you to use your 'gut instinct' and eliminate answer options, and then try to back-solve the problem. On the GMAT, you need to be conceptually sound in order to do well in Data Sufficiency; secondly, there are many different ways in which you need to deal with Data sufficiency problems -- testing scenarios, transformation, and application of concepts. None of the other worthless prep courses for the GMAT trains you comprehensively, as MLIC does, in concepts, procedures, and works-every-time strategies critical to scoring in the 90th percentile or better on the GMAT.
  • Kaplan and Princeton Review run helplines that require you to type the whole problem one at a time and wait for 2 or 3 days before you receive a feedback. Kaplan's money-back guarantee is a confidence game because your 'score improvement' is judged from a diagnostic test administered by Kaplan. Do not be fooled by empty promises, Only MLIC trains you at high difficulty levels reflecting the current, LIVE emphasis on the GMAT, and backs up the training with 80th percentile score guarantee.
